I broke a promise to someone
Months ago I had promised myself to continue towards a healthier lifestyle. Running is a passion but has been put on hold for some time partly due to a back injury but mostly because of excuses. It’s been a really tough time trying to get back in the habit of running every couple of days. Running free on the roads and trails has been on my mind so much that I just can never ignore it. Even though my running routine has slipped my diet is improving bit by bit. In January I put myself on a new dietary goal. Two years ago I cut caffeine out of my diet. A year later I cut out fast food. This year it’s a big one. I’ve cut all refined sugar from my diet. May not sound like a difficult task until you look at the labels of everything you currently eat. It’s been a huge eye opener and is getting a little easier everyday.
I hope everyone is doing well and I’ll do my best to post a summary of how life has been since our baby was born last May.
